A 3D Ultrasound is a STILL IMAGE of your baby, in a 3 dimensional format . The 3D image can be in a golden color, or a pink color. They are colored this way, so you can see your baby's features.
When is the best time to get a 3D Ultrasound?
3D ultrasound images, (and face pictures,) are best between 26 weeks to 34 weeks gestational age. This time frame allows for some great images!
